The Holy Trinity.

Beyond collecting a music from many genres and periods, when it comes to three bands in particular I'm a bit of a completist. Motorhead, Alice Cooper, and most recently, The Hellacopters, have all turned my inner record geek completely upside down. And I fear there are a few more develpoing at the moment.

I recently read an article in Record Collector Magazine (U.K.) about the Vertigo label and it not only made me hot for "Spiral" label copies of these records, but has awakened a newfound lust for Black Sabbath originals as well. Singles and E.P.'s in particular. From all over the globe.

Another band I've been serching for singles by is AC/DC, and their '70's and early '80's singles are not easy to come by around here. I don't buy too much from E-Bay, I tend to go out "on the hunt" as it were, at shops and bi-monthly shows and such.

Some bands I search for items from regularly include; Husker Du/Related, Social Distortion, The Clash, The Damned, Venom, '60's Female Do-Wop, '70's Punk Rock, '^0's Garage Punk/FreakBeat, Sun Records 45's, Johnny Cash, Early -Mid '80's New Wave, Fear, Supersuckers, Twin Cities Punk Rock on ALL formats, Alice Cooper 1/4" Reel to Reel Tapes, 8-Tracks, Large '80's C.D. Store Display Boxes, Record Collecting Magazines, catalogs, price guides, articles, Novelty records, G.G. Allin, Joan Jett/Related, Runnaways, Iron Maiden, Deep Purple, Elvis Costello singles, DEVO singles, and much much more!

For Motorhead and Alice, this has been promising throughout time. for the Hellacopters though, not so much. It's very few and far between that something used rolls through, and if it does, I usually buy it right away.

My Motorhead collection is large, but nowhere near complete. It's heavy in L.P.'s, but rather light in the single/E.P. department. You'll read about what I have, what I don't, what I want, and some things I'm willing to make deals/trades for. Hopefully this blog will turn out to be another extension of wheeling and dealing and brings us both some oppertunities.

I would also like to extend an invitation to anyone who would care to ask me any questions about their records, I have and extensive knowledge, nowhere near expert, yet, but I generally know what I'm talking about. Or, if you'd care to do some trading buying/selling, or would like something appraised, you can email me at:

More to come, I'm falling asleep...work early.
Cheers
